Gary Morgret

Gary Morgret has been taking photos since his first Brownie camera, bought for a 6th-grade class trip to New York Aquarium at Coney Island. As an art student in studio and art history at SUNY Plattsburgh State University, he began taking photography classes, working in the university photo lab, and teaching a photography class for inmates at a maximum-security prison in Dannemora, New York. As graphic designer for Embarcadero Center, he bought his first digital camera in 1999 and has graduated to a Nikon D200. His photography has been displayed at Embarcadero Center, Avenue 9 Gallery, and The Artistry at All Fired Up. Several of Gary’s photos have been purchased by San Francisco Art Commission for Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center. Gary Morgret on Flickr. Contact Gary Morgret: garybill@gmail.com.
